Logan Ambrose
Director Junior of Golf

Logan started working on the driving range at Centennial Park Golf Centre back in 2007. After 5 years he moved into the pro shop for a number of years before starting our Junior Camp in 2018. Logan is a high school teacher in the Peel District School Board and is trained in providing differentiated instruction to each of his students to meet their individual needs both in school and on the golf course. As the Director of Junior Golf at Centennial, Logan has created a junior program here that introduces juniors to the game and provides the basics fundamentals of grip, posture, full swing, short game and etiquette. As students learn the game on our driving range and short game area, he also takes them out on the course to teach them the importance of course management and on-course etiquette. Although Logan focuses mostly on the junior camp, he can provide private instruction for juniors who are interested in more advanced learning and who want to play competitive golf. Some of his past students have participated in the Golf Ontario Drive, Chip & Putt Challenge as well as CJGA events.

Favourite Courses Played: Pebble Beach Golf Links & The Old Course at St. Andrew's

Bucket List: TPC Sawgrass, Cypress Point Club

Junior Camp 2024

Junior Camps

Centennial offers week-long junior camps that run for seven weeks during the summer time to help children between the ages of 6-15 learn golf in an effort to help grow the game. We work with beginners and experienced players to help develop their skills and have fun! Campers have ample opportunity to learn and practice full swing, chipping, putting, etiquette, mini golf, co-operative games as well as get to play multiple 9-hole rounds during the week. Golf Camp runs each day from 9:00am to 4:00pm. The camp is instructed by a teacher who is certified by the Ontario College of Teachers and employed by the Peel District School Board as well as additional instructors who all have previous camp counsellor experience.
